The ideas are for a new theme for the cards children collect in YOYO bear products, and a collectable mechanic to go with them.
That this took me 102 hours in one week and had me up until 4am every night. It was a 70 page presentation, including strategy and carefully considered insights.
The whole deck was hand-drawn, all be it only for concepts, and I put my soul and every ounce of energy into it, as I do with everything. It's my work and crucially, my loss in time & a month's mortgage so I'm posting it.
The idea included a DM piece which opened into a simple pop-up theatre, housing the "Bearfta Awards" collection mechanic. This was a fun way to engage the children - the cards from the yoyo bear products would slide into different scenes, encouraging further collection.
The second theme included a fun way to engage the children using virtual reality. Using the simple app, 'Aurasma', the children hold an ipad or phone over the image and see the animal pop out of their homes. In the example for the presentation, animated fluttering birds appeared around their mud homes and popped up from inside (currently a private link). A large, animated log-style button took the children straight through to the website. This could land on a sign-up page, presentation of a new product or a fun way to visit different animal homes and online activites. A great way to engage both children & mums from paper to digital, enabling people to not only enjoy the YOYO cards in their hands, but also share & get involved online.
That's all for now.
