I work extremely hard.
I've also switched my life around to be nearer home and focus on the more important things- I Illustrate, and now work in my local private hospital in Buckhurst Hill- I can be home to my family in three minutes. This is useful for when my son locks himself in between the two porch doors and when the cat is in labour.
I'm loving meeting people on a daily basis at the hospital, and am seriously considering learning a bit more in the healthcare world. I may dust off the old notebooks and sharpen the pencil!
Over the last year, I've illustrated for the book "How To Argue With A Cat: A human's Guide To The Art Of Persuasion" & created the digital campaign for it by night. It was exhausting, but also awesome. So much so that I would like to do more of this.
I've discovered publishing people to be the nicest all over the world - It has been a real pleasure working with Penguin & Random House New York / Rodale this last year, and I look forward to working with the French, Spanish & Chinese publishing houses this year.
I'm available for more books :)

From scamp to crafted ad, soft pencil to violent ink-splats, I love to do it.
My background as an Avid Editor at Ogilvy has allowed me pop together little ads & mood films when the mood takes me. Very useful to sell an idea in.
I dabble in this in the early hours and have taught myself Adobe After-Effects.
Original textured abstract artist: have sold many paintings through galleries and private clients. My work hangs in Tin-Pan Alley London, a favourite haunt of the Beatles...one of them still pops in from time to time.
Designed many logos in the past... particularly fond of hand-designed typography. I use Photoshop, indesign, a pencil and the traditional pen & ink ( the dippy one).
I love to write: little poems, stories and love a bit of word play. Am currently writing a children's book in between everything else.
I have a lovely husband and two lovely children who put up with me doing all of the above at home.
I have a 2:1 Honours Degree in Dance Drama, English & Cultural Studies.
